You know, this whole “exercise” or “fitness” thing (hehe) isn’t one-size-fits-all. There are so many ways to engage in exercise, make it fun, fit, your schedule, and get it to work for YOU.
Want to know how? Here’s a few fresh ideas:
1) Find a gym close to home or work. If it’s more than 10 miles away it will be far too easy to find excuses to not go.
2) Get a friend to join with you! This is one of my favorites (I’ve done this in the past). Going with a buddy makes it more fun, and you’ll also give each other encouragement and feel guilty about letting them down if you don’t go. I call this the friendly accountabili-buddy.
3) Work out when you feel most active. Think about it, and be honest with yourself. If you’re NOT a morning person, then don’t plan a workout program…
